Day #4–Busia County

I: Sigulu Well Progress: The drilling team has had three major drawbacks

1) On May 3rd, a major drilling rig component (a large pipe wrench) fell into a 23metres (about 69ft deep) borehole forced them to start drilling well from scratch.

2) On May 3rd, 3 hours after starting to drill the new borehole, the drilling rig engine broke. Was successfully repaired.

3) On May 4th at about 20metres, the compressor developed mechanical problems and will be fixed hopefully by end of Saturday, May 5th before resuming drilling.

II: Still missing luggage piece #12, which contained pieces of PET that we will be assembling for a disabled child in Burudu village of Busia County. We hope to reclaim it on May 7th.

III: Travelling to Mambai Area in Vihiga County today. Will be lauching a Bible Study program and sharing a meal with members of the community on Saturday, May 5th.

In ALL we fix our eyes to none other than MUNGU Baba! (Father God)!

  1. Bonnie posted something on Facebook about the drilling difficulties, so we’re praying!
